What's New
Laser technology allows for laser skin resurfacing to improve the skin's tone and texture. Wrinkles and fine lines can be reduced and eliminated with laser treatments. Also, the laser may be used to treat your entire face or for "spot treatment;" for example, it is frequently used in combination with transconjunctival eyelid surgery to smooth and tighten lower eyelid skin.

Procedure Overview
Our laser skin treatments are performed by using concentrated beams of light in short pulses directly to the outer layer of skin. The laser works to remove certain skin impurities such as lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and other imperfections. Generally, the procedure may take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on which areas of the face are treated and the depth of your treatment.

Can laser skin treatments be combined with surgical procedures?
Yes, oftentimes laser treatments are performed in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures including lip enhancement and eyelid surgery. Many women and men notice an improved appearance of lines and wrinkles by combining facial rejuvenation treatments, and are satisfied with their laser skin surgery results in New York.
What is recovery like?
Many patients experience slight redness, swelling and tightness immediately after their laser treatment. For about a week or so after your procedure, your skin may seem pinkish; however, this should quickly fade. Depending on the depth of your treatment, you may be able to return to work soon after your procedure.
Will I need multiple treatments?
Some of our patients require multiple laser session (typically spaced out in 3 to 6 week intervals) for optimal results. Multiple treatments sometimes are not necessary, especially if there are only subtle improvements you wish to make.
