The length of the incision that the surgeon makes in a mini tummy tuck procedure depends on the amount of skin being removed, but is always shorter than the incision he makes during a traditional tummy tuck.  If necessary, liposuction can also be performed during the procedure to remove unwanted fat deposits as well as to shape the tummy to the appearance the patient desires.
