In liposuction, fat is removed via a small, hollow tube called a cannula, through one or more tiny incisions (usually less than one-quarter inch in length) near the area to be suctioned. Incisions are placed in areas where the body’s natural creases will hide any potential scarring. The cannula is connected to a vacuum pressure unit and guided by the expert hands of one of our surgeons. The device then literally vacuums away the unwanted fat and cellulite – permanently.
