Endoscopic Surgery Techniques and Technologies

Modern cosmetic surgery patients demand natural looking results with the least amount of invasive surgery possible. At Cosmetic Surgery Associates of Westchester, we understand that our patients are busy people with active lifestyles who want to look their best with minimal inconvenience.

That's why we were among the first plastic surgeons in the country to offer endoscopic, or "minimally invasive," cosmetic surgery. Endoscopy refers to a minimally invasive approach to cosmetic enhancement. The endoscope itself is a tiny instrument consisting of two basic parts: a tubular probe fitted with a tiny camera and bright light, which is inserted through a small incision; and a viewing screen, which magnifies the images of the body’s internal structures.

The endoscope allows surgeons to operate through much smaller incisions than otherwise would be possible. In cosmetic surgery, the endoscope is used most often for performing surgery to smooth forehead lines and lift the brows.

If you have any questions about endoscopic surgery and whether it might be the right choice for you, please contact Cosmetic Surgery Associates of Westchester today. We will send you additional information prior to your appointment.

Patient before-and-after photographs are available for viewing in the office.
